1955

The Beginning

Visionary founder Ross Hartoon opened Sarnia Coin Exchange on the historic Front Street in Sarnia, Ontario. A humble start that would grow into a beloved community institution.

1961

A Block East

The business moved to Christina Street, right next to the Sarnia Public Library — a hub for community and commerce. This move established the shop as a central destination for collectors.

1975

A New Chapter

In the vibrant mid-1970s, Ross entrusted the baton to his close friend and dedicated mentee, Jim Hall. Jim carried the torch with pride, nurturing and expanding the beloved company through decades of growth and trust.

2018

Our Current Home

We made an exciting move to our brand-new location designed with YOU in mind! Located at 1200 Lambton Mall Rd., Unit #3 — featuring easier parking, a more inviting atmosphere, and a space where treasures are just waiting to be discovered. No more worries about parking meters or tight spots!
