Sarnia Coin Exchange also known as Sarnia Coin, Gold & Silver Bullion Exchange is a go-to coin shop for buyers and sellers. We have a track record of providing quality service and products for almost seven decades. We are recognized as a trusted buyer and seller dealer in jewelry, coins, gold and silver bullion.
Our History
Sarnia Coin Exchange was founded in 1955 by Ross Hartoon and was located on Front Street in Sarnia, Ontario. In 1961 he relocated the business one block east on Christina Street next to the Sarnia Public Library.
In the mid-1970's the business was sold by founder Ross to his long-time friend Jim Hall to whom he mentored over many years. Today Jim continues on the businesses success as it approaches almost seven decades of operation. And today 66 years later, many long time and newer customers comment on how enjoyable the newer location (2018) is to visit without the worries of searching for an empty parking spot or loose change to feed a parking meter.
Today the store is situated where you won't have to hope there is an empty parking spot or risk putting a valuable collectors coin in a parking meter.
